Formed in 1952, Great Yarmouth Glass & Windows is the longest established Home Improvement & Glazing Company in the area. During this time our reputation has been built on providing top quality products manufactured and installed to the highest possible standards.

The Company is independently owned and operated by Steve Page and Barry Cockrill who have jointly served the Company in excess of 65 years. Our installations are carried out by our in-house trained staff, many of them having completed in excess of 25 years service with the Company.

With the high pressure selling techniques used by many double glazing Companies, it can be extremely confusing selecting a Company you can trust to carry out work in your home.

Whilst the price must be a major consideration, there are other factors which should be carefully considered before making such an important decision regarding your property.

We have selected some of the major points which you may wish to use as a check-list before placing your order :-

• Are the frames manufactured to British Standards BS7412, BS7413, PAS23/34 and BS7950 all with independent Kite Mark certification?
• Are the glass units manufactured to British Standard EN1279 with Kite Mark certification?
• Are the frames manufactured with the prestigious ‘Secured by Design’ accreditation?
• Are the manufacturers written Certificates of Conformity available on request?
• Is the installer FENSA registered and either provided or given you the opportunity to purchase a 10 Year Insurance Backed Guarantee from a Government Approved provider?
• Have you been asked for a deposit without any form of Indemnity Protection?
